AirAsia customers can now redeem their credits on the same day they make a request for credit from the airline. This customer-centric move provides guests with a fast and hassle free resolution regarding flights that were cancelled.
Customers whose flights were cancelled by AirAsia between March, 23 and March, 31st 2020 can retain the value of their bookings with Credit Accounts on the on the same day of their request. Some restrictions apply for future flight bookings.
AirAsia Chief Customer Happiness Officer Adam Geneave said, “We know it’s been a frustrating time for our guests, and our team has been working hard to add faster, simpler ways to access our recovery options. We are pleased to make Credit Accounts more easily accessible for our valued guests, many of whom have chosen them over refunds, in anticipation of flying with us again in the future.
