Japan’s All Nippon Airways ANA is set to test RakuRo™ mobility assistance solutions at Tokyo Narita International Airport. The autonomous mobility solution is designed to help passengers with transportation needs navigate Narita Airport. Testing is schedule to run from Feb 27th thru Feb 28th.
“ANA is continuously looking for ways to harness the latest breakthroughs to streamline travel for all passengers,” said Juichi Hirasawa, Senior Vice President of ANA. “No matter their needs, ANA is committed to finding solution that work for everyone who chooses to fly with us. This is born out of our desire to constantly raise the bar for service.”
Due to the size of Narita Airport, passengers travelling with small children or heavy baggage may find it difficult to walk long distances. The RakuRo™ autonomous mobility solution can help passengers get to boarding gates, duty free shops, and restaurants.
